Since the beginning of the year things have really been hopping here at RWM. Many clients have told me the economy is improving as it pertains to their business but I also feel a lot of businesses are gearing up for what they feel is the beginning of the turnaround.

Although I am no economist it feels to me like the “recovery” has been going on for awhile because I think people still blindly think its going to go where it was. This I strongly believe is just not going to happen. Its not like I do not want it to but the fact is things were way out of whack and its not really a correction but more of a sea change.

This situation has really helped our business grow as its made businesses catch up online and off. We are always here to help with affordable long terms solutions. That sentence sort of sounded like an insurance commercial but that is after all sort of what we do. Help a business take to the next level or get them in th right direction.

We continue to help and improve in order to make our customers some of the best served in the industry.

I was reminded of the difference between passion vs. obsession the other day because of the passing of a client that was an institution in Seattle. He gave people amazing food and put a smile on their face and stomachs. Not a bad way to live a life. He left way to soon but his wonderful restaurant will live on. Personally I will do whatever it takes to help this happen and be better for it. Thanks Carmine for all did and to all your great employees who will keep it going.

This passing also reminded me of something that happen to me when a friend passed years ago. It reminded me that when someone passes its ALL about hem and really has nothing to do with you. Yes of course you should mourn and put your best foot forward but do not make it about yourself. Maybe its my Italian Catholic upbringing that did this. You know guilt and grief and all that. Not a great way to live but its a bit embedded.

Live your life however you want but do it so it helps others and makes your little piece of all this better. I think Carmine did that in his own way.

2012 and Beyond!

As we are now in 2012 its becoming very clear that clients are starting to see the light at the end and things are getting better. The economy has a long way to go but if businesses try and get ready now they will be ready when the real rubber hits the road.

These are the businesses we really enjoy helping because we can show them the inherent value of branding, print and web without breaking the bank.

When to Say yes and When to Run like Hell!!

The funny thing about trying to grow business is you will usually take just about everything. Its not like you do not have any morals but you think or hope to think that overall people are good. Well so much for that.

While in Chicago we came upon this very issue. This time we need to take the higher road and say no. Trust me we could use the money as we expand. Sometimes you have to think about long term vs. right now.

As we open things up in Chicago the best thing to do is stay true and hope we do the best we can without compromising things.

We are working on many projects right now and will be updating the website as things go live and also be showing the new print ads we have been working on.

This is what happens when you go to the Value Village for socks and have a somewhat open mind. Who can not forget the tourneys we used to have in our basement in the great town of Chicago. As the NHL season goes to the playoffs (hopefully) I salute my fave team The Blackhawks which in my younger years paid 7 dollars to watch Bobby Hull, Stan

Hockey Game from an era behind but feels like yesterday

Makita (His mom lived down the street from my grammar school) and Tony Esposito who signed my goalie pads when I was all of 12 years old. This is awesome and then again fabulous.

Great memories and it is so much to put these metal guys on and shoot and score.

yes its good to be home again. After living in Queen Anne for what seemed like forever I have moved to a nice little nook with all the cool kids on a street that if it was any quieter it would be well I am honestly not sure how much quieter it could be!

Nellie is very happy she can now walk the shore of her new home.

She first goes to our new coffee place for some refreshment from a tasty beverage.

Java Bean... great place and great baristas! My new "Home"

Then onto The GG Park for a walk like no other. A beautiful morning and the start to a kick butt day!
